This evening, ANCAP posted the crash rating for the brand new Toyota C-HR coupe crossover – a full 5 stars.
The ANCAP rating announcement comes a few days after the C-HR’s official launch earlier this week. According to ANCAP, the car did well in all tests recieving a 33.18 out of 38. The only main downside is that the AEB system on the European model tested is not the same as the Aussie system – our system cannot detect pedestrians. Despite this, the car would still get a 5-star rating if tested locally.
Overall, this is great news as the C-HR is expected to sell well and this will be a guarantee for all owners. What do you think about ANCAP or the C-HR? Let me know!
